Euro X - US Open

Wow, it's been snowing in Utah...finally.

The sleds have been fired up once again and the fun continues. Seems like Mother Nature keeps pushing winter further and further back each season. At least its back again!

Rad happenings since our last update:

• Torah Bright updated her site with a few trip photos from NZ (this summer) and a portrait shoot. Looking good Torah!
• Looks like Gretchen won't be headed to Euro-X but she will be attending the US Open (twitter gossip). Even better for all of us in the states, get to the Open!
• Want to watch Euro-X live anyway? ESPN 360 has you covered.
• More stoked on US Open LIVE?! Burton dialed that in.
• Lisa Filzmoser is rocking a profile on Helly Hansen's site.

Fan Love - Ladies Update

Lately we've had some action on Twitter that we're STOKED to see..


Been following the Olympics? STANCE ladies Torah Bright and Gretchen Bleiler were all over the talk shows and coverage during the womens' events. Killing it!

Even NPR picked up Torah's halfpipe win - random but cool.

Had a chance to get out into the backcountry yet this season? Things have started to PUMP again here in Utah. Over the past few days we've gotten enough snow to fill in previously thin zones. Have a look..

Olympics + SELF Magaine Features STANCE

Hopefully you're watching the opening ceremonies right now. Keep an eye out for the STANCE ladies, we've already seen a few appearances. It won't be too long before pipe is going off!

Video Thursday: Air Guitar / X Slopestyle

Here in the Wastach we woke up to snow this morning, and there's only one thing to say about that: awesome. Feels good to see that white stuff falling from the sky once again. There's been a bit of a drought here in Utah lately.

In case you haven't seen there's a little bit of snow in Washington, DC though.

Hopefully you caught X-Games this year. In case you didn't a couple of the Stance ladies cleaned up, including Jenny Jones who returned to secure another gold in slopestyle.

Gretchen has been busy too, besides doing her own damage at X she's been filming a few Olympic-type commercials. Shredding the air guitar is one of her many skills.

X Dance, X Games Gold, Grand Prix - Jan Recap

Wooo, January was a busy month! Below is a recap of the events, the glory, and the goodness that welcomed STANCE into the new year. Hopefully everyone had a chance to get some turns in already, winter is in full effect.
What happened in January?

1. STANCE was welcomed in XDANCE and nominated for "Best Cinematography", "Core Film", and "Soundtrack." Tons of shredders came out to support the cause and the good times rolled!
   
   
2. Grand Prix event at Park City named the US Olympic Snowboard Team, we caught a glimpse of what Vancouver will look like in the pipe, and it bombed snow!
   
   
3. Gretchen Bleiler wins her 4th X Games gold medal in pipe, drops a serious 9 on the first hit of her second run, and all around good times are had. Add that win to the 1st place at the Mammoth Mountain Grand Prix stop and January shaped up to be a pretty sweet month overall. Also, the LA Times just dropped a piece on Gretchen, noting that she has "crossover appeal". Cleaning up!
   
   
4. STANCE webisodes have been periodically dropping (follow us on Twitter for updates: @stancemovie). Check out webisode #4 for some ridiculous action by Raewyn Reid.
